Still pending the results of our last game on the Tuesday card, currently, we will have a profitable day win or lose! For this Wednesday we have our 2* MLB play. We have only made 9 of these plays all season and are 7-2 +12.48 units.
Writeup will be out by Wednesday morning*
2* TOR BlueJays @ BOS RedSox Over 8 -110 - Here we go, it has been a couple weeks or so since our last 2* MLB play. Most previous was a TB Rays game at +140 with Archer. Same scenario here where I saw this game last night at it jumped off the pages to me, or should I say LCD screen. Now sitting at 8.5 -115, I still believe that is a number to fire away at the over on this play. Lets take a look at a few key scenarios that will bold well for us.
The starters today are M. Buehrle and B. Workman who will start in place of Lester tonight in Fenway. Buehrle starts the year without anyone believing or thinking he could run up that many wins, that fast. Now he hasnt won a game in nearly 2 months after he came out of the gate at 10-1. He is coming off one of his worst defeats of the season to the Yankees, where he had 6 ER's in only 3 innings of work. Just dreadful. Buehrle commented on the matter stating that the groundballs and hits early in the season were going to the defensive spots and that can explain his 10-1 start. Now the hits are going into the gaps and holes creating a massive distance from where he was 2 months ago. Buehrle also states words or phrases such as "I think" or "I dont feel". Words or phrases like that are not good for the mental state of a starting pitcher. Do you honestly thinkg he will go out there today and pitch a gem? He could yes, it is Boston, but I am not forseeing that possibility today. Since his last win he is 0-6 with a 4.83 ERA and coming off the worst start of the year for Buerhle, the over is looking tempting again.
B. Workman on the other side today for Boston as the try to somehow climb back in the AL East, however imo they have been done for a while. The good news is in leiu of Lester and his strong ERA going today, we get Workman recently called back up from Pawtucket TAAA. He has lost his last 3 outings and posting a ERA in that span of 4.50. Toronto bats have been rolling and Workman is the perfect spot today for them to keep it going.
Boston hitters are shining versus M. Buehrle . Pedroia is 15 for 40 (.375) against Buehrle while David Ortiz is 25 for 79 (.316) with 13 extra-base hits. We like Extra base hits in a over, so keep it going today Ortiz! Toronto hitters in thier last 11 games are batting .324 and have averaged 6.18 Runs a Game! Melky Cabrera is batting .388 in 12 games against Boston this season while Jose Bautista isn't far behind at .362.
Here are the average combined scores for both starters today. Buehrle at 8.8 and Workman at 9.6 Year to Date.Maybe one of the 2 teams here today can even do it on thier own! Take this one to the window and let em know your taking them with the Over today! BOL.
1* STL Cardinals +115 - Just take a look at the 2 teams only today. Not the starters or lineups. Just know whats what and who is who. We know the Cardinals are the better team here, and one to win thier respected division. SD wins yesterday as we were on that side, but they rarely post back to backs, and with most grabbing the SD side today, I will take the Cards.
BOL and hope to see you at the window!
