Making seven small plays tonight. Fading several teams that are on their first game back at home following a road trip. Feel free to follow or fade or ignore. Here we go:
Nationals -1.5 +115: Marlins coming back home after sweeping the Astros, I can definitely see an offensive setback tonight. Marlins have lost nine of last ten games in which Eovaldi starts.
Over 7.5 +105 Nats vs Marlins: Eovaldi's last two starts- 11 IP, 13 earned runs. I think the Nats really smack him around tonight, and early. I could see the Nats getting eight on their own, but I do see the Marlins at least getting a few runs tonight to help push this game to 8+ runs.
Phillies +120: Another team coming home after a road trip. Mets have not scored more than three runs in each of their last nine games. Burnett should be confident as his last start was superb. Think there is value here in what is a toss up game.
Diamondbacks +120: Bailey has a 5.76 ERA when pitching at night. Not good for a team that has scored just 1.7 runs per game in their last seven games. Anderson has been solid in his last two starts, I see that continuing tonight.
Brewers +115: A good pitching matchup here, but Lohse is just a bit better. Brewers are 15-6 in games which Lohse starts. Milwaukee also has better interleague numbers.
Under 8 -110 Yankees vs Rangers: Two strong pitchers facing two questionable offenses (especially Texas). Both teams struggle a bit against righties. Really feels like a 3-2 type of game.
Oakland -1.5 -120: Oakland likes to win by a lot. Houston likes to lose by a lot. Five straight multiple run losses for the Astros, look for number six tonight.
BOL tonight everyone, let's all have a profitable night.
