On an AMAZING run in the MLB Post Season, now 6-1 overall after last nights 2-0 sweep wwith the Angels and the OVER in the LA / Philly game (talk about sweating it out!!)....now we have some serious tight moneylines and some contemplation to do in the next 3 hours as cappers and forum cappers....Here is some info I found late last night that I wanterd to throw out in todays forum and get you guys feedback on........
Historically, the numbers haven't been very good for starters pitching on three or fewer days' rest in the postseason since it expanded to three rounds in 1995.

I believe CC pitched on 3 days rest down the stretch last season and into the NLDS where he did have a bad outing against the Phils. However, if you look at the 4-5 starts prior to that (where I believe he pitched on short rest), he was quite good. While those games were NOT post-season baseball games, they were very important as the Brewers needed to win those games as there were fighting to make the playoffs.
I passed on the Side and played a totals play in this one at www.pregamepros.com 6-1 MLB Playoff run
Side Play....I like the Yanks..just have a hunch here....
I am going with a very small play on the Angles here tonight. CC has been great as of late, but I think he gets lit up tonight.
I like the over. Not sure on side but leaning toward Angels. Agree with Tony total/over may be better play
In '06 CC had 1 start with less than 5 days rest:
0-0 11.57ERA gave up 3 runs in 2.1 inn
In '07:
1-0 4,50ERA gave up 3 runs in 6 inn
In '08 (NL):
2-1 2.33ERA 4 games 1 CG
In '09:
No games pitched on <5 days rest.
FYI
Good stuff guys...although I doubt Sabathia gives up 3 runs in 2 innings....but ya never know...
The guy is a different animal so to apeak in NY right now....Both pitchers prety solid....Bullpens uner 2.00 ERA lst 3 with avaliable guys....
