San Diego (+175) have made the Howling Dog cut. Let's get 'em. Comments appreciated!

Line-watching until first pitch now.

I'll stay clear of the Sox and Peavy tonight. White Sox are 3-15 in their last 18 at the Rogers' Centre. Just doesn't feel right. Something amiss when the Cubs open as 190 favorites. Wouldn't touch that one with a 10' pole, either. Wasn't so long ago that Gallaraga almost threw a no-no and the 'Stros have been competitive even in losing. Currently peculiar line moves for Texas, Chicago (AL), Philadelphia, Milwaukee and TB. These bear watching.

Hamels has not fared well against the Fish this season, but I can't see them beating him for a 4th time. 12-6 on the season with 3 of those losses coming at the hands of Miami. He'll make the adjustment tonight.

Trying to figure out why the Brewers' ML is so low at 140ish? With Fiers alone, it should be 170 or so, IMO. Throw in the fact that Rockies starters are 0-8 with an 8.66 ERA over the last 11 games (while losing 10) and it becomes more confounding. Hope it is not a trap, as I have to go with the Crew. Nope....it's a pass for me! Brewers are flat-out bad on the road. Too risky for me. Good luck to those on 'em.
