Now for me I simulated that game and have the Rockies with a + .9 differential and a 57.8% the play wins, so for me -120 there is value on the Rockies for me! I hope I cleared it up.

at -108 the 'sharp' side is on the favorite, however after the line moves to -118 the favorite is no longer the 'sharp' side?
There are no such thing as "sharp" sides, there are only "sharp numbers". If a football game gets steamed from +3.5 to +2.5, the dog is the sharp side, but only at the 3.5 number. If there was still value in the +2.5, don't you think wiseguys would still be betting it?

Las Vegas Books are not allowed to "sell off" or "buy" from somewhere else. This is a gaming regulation. The only way they can adjust their handle on a game is to move the line to attract betting on the other side.
Lloyd, first of all i have great respect for you but, I don't get your beef with this post....in reading back bk was merely stating the line move on a team that is not getting the majority of the action. Pitts was at 65% of action yet line was moving the other way, which made it a sharp number. He never said value....fade or follow, it's only an opinion!
