Thanks, Jeff. FWIW....I think that Cain is the right choice despite Dickey's unreal numbers the first half. If you were to start a franchise....would you prefer Cain or Dickey?
Teams do not practise against a knuckle-baller despite having to face Dickey, as it would likely throw off their swings. IF they were going to face him in the post-season you can bet that they would and despite how good that pitch is, I suspect he'd get rocked at that time.
I would go with Cain over Dickey as well. I think this will be a one time season for Dickey, where as Cain has always been consistent.
