San Diego has won six straight as a dog.  To see when the last time a team pulled this off, use this SDQL text:

p:WD and pp:WD and ppp:WD and pppp:WD and ppppp:WD and pppppp:WD

The Orioles did it last season.  What is somewhat interesting is that teams in this spot have been +138 on the moneyline, so their win streak is not impressing the linesmakers.  Nonetheless, teams in this spot are 5-1 since the start of the database in 2004 if they are not a dog of more than 135, with the only loss by a 1-0 score.

Going further, using this SDQL:

p:WD and pp:WD and ppp:WD and pppp:WD and ppppp:WD and pppppp:WD and ppppppp:WD and pppppppp:WD

We can see that the Indians and Rockies both have EIGHT straight wins as a dog.  Colorado's streak (6/4/2009 through 6/13/2009) ended because they were finally a favorite and the Indians' streak (4/3/2011 to 4/11/2011) ended with a loss.

It will be interesting to see how the Padres do today.
