5 nice dogs have won...+160 twice and +150 and +180....dont pass on the dogs
From start of season up until yesterday: Teams after scoring 1 run are 61-56. Sorry, this is late. Busy day. Will do teams after scoring 0 runs tmrw. Have a feeling that's a better record

DMAN,
Thanks for starting this great thread. Please forgive the intrusion -- I'm new to posting here and I'm not sure if I'm supposed to start a new thread or continue here.
Your idea had me poking around the database and I tightened your system to uncover that the league as a whole is 205-118 since 2004 (as far back as I can check) in the second game of a home series when they scored a lone run and lost as a favorite in the opener. This system has produced a profit of 48.3 games. The SDQL text is:
p:runs=1 and p:HFL and SG=2
I think this makes a lot of handicapping sense.
Of course, I'm not trying to "take credit" for your find. I'm just -- like everyone else here -- trying to beat the bookie. I hope this makes some small contribution towards this goal.
Respectfully,
SDQL Guru
great find guru. wish I Knew how to work that SDQL database lol. Could you do something similar with teams scoring 0 runs? Thx and of course thx to Dman for starting this thread

Rule #2. Discipline!
Ok, from the start of the season up until and including yesterday teams after scoring 0 runs are 33-25 but a bunch of dogs are included on both the wins and loss sides
