Cleveland / Minnesota 1st 5 Over 5 (+105)
I know Cleveland is in an offensive drought right now, and Investing in the "Over" on there game may not seem like a great idea. I have also been watching public money pour in on the "Over" all morning while the smart money pours in on the "Under". I never like being a position to make an Investment under these conditions.
However, I make an exception to that rule on this game.
Santiago is just the pitcher that Cleveland needs to run into to snap out of their Offensive drought. At the same time, Minnesota is probably more than happy to face Bauer today also. These two teams have met earlier this month with the same two pitchers, just in two different games. Both of those meetings were high scoring events on each pitcher, now we have them together in the same game. This match up makes for a perfect storm in my opinion.
Santiago's last encounter with Cleveland cost him 6 runs in 5 innings, 2 of which were Home Runs. (Not to mention his last game pitched against KC, 8 runs). While Bauer's last shot at Minnesota cost him 8 runs in under 3 innings, 2 of which were Home Runs. Minnesota is still hitting well and Cleveland definitely has the potential to put up some runs.
I think this one gets ugly quick. We don't even need both teams to come through.
Best of Luck today
