Hey guys, world champion sports handicapper, Joe D'Amico here. As you know, the Chicago Cubs were and still are the odds-on favorites to win the World Series this season. Well, after a blistering, 25-6 start, the team has cooled off, to now own a 53-35 record, which is a .602 winning %. The red-hot San Francisco Giants have the best overall mark in the Majors and it seems that Chicago is running out of gas already. With several Cubs making the All-Star game, it doesn't seem that a mid-season rest will happen for their stars. Personally, I feel that a lack of leadership and most of the team playing "me-ball" and no team play is once again going to crush the hopes of the Cubs faithful. Come the post-season, they will be one and out. What do you think? I am always interested in hearing from all you wonderful fans and aficionado's. Joe D
