Brewers/Phillies Over 8(+100)
I take a look at this game and its hard to imagine this thing being anything close to a pitchers duel. Brewers starter Matt Garza has lost 3 straight and comes in with an ERA of 5.52. Having really struggled lately I'd look to fade Garza here but with Chad Billingsley on the mound for Philly I feel the over is the best bet. Billingsley comes in off the disabled list to make only his 4th start this year, in those 3 starts gave up 12 runs in 16 innings pitched for an ERA of 6.75. Billingsley has been inactive since May 14th due to a right shoulder strain and I can't help but question his health as the strain hes dealing with now is the same elbow he had surgery on last season...So far in the first 3 games of this series these 2 teams haven't had any problem scoring runs putting 2 of the totals over and pushing one. I expect the scoring to continue tonight with these 2 pitchers on the mound and also have to take into the consideration that these are the 2 worst fielding teams in baseball and the possibility of a couple errors in this game is good. The trends in this one are favoring the over as well: 6-2 in Garza's last 8 starts, 14-2 in Philly's last 16 home games, 20-7-1 in Philly's last 28 overall....Getting over 8 here shouldn't be much of problem
