This has to be in the running for the worst hitting starting lineup of the season. It's Milwaukee's batting order today against the Cardinals:
1. Jean Segura 2. Gerardo Parra 3. Carlos Gomez 4. Adam Lind 5. Jonathan Lucroy 6. Shane Peterson 7. Hector Gomez 8. Herman Perez 9. Jimmy Nelson

6-9 are not great but 1-5 is not bad. Segura, Parra and Gomez can all hit and Lind has 8 jacks. Lucroy has been injured but is definitely capable. I think the Dbacks have had worse lineups at points this season.
Corey, the Dbacks are certainly not a great team, but did you know they lead the NL in runs scored? I think a more apt comparison might be the Mets or Marlins.
DBacks have great hitters, pitching is awful
when Trumbo was hurt and Yasmany Tomas was in the minors the Dbacks were trotting out some bad lineups. This was earlier in the season. Their lineup is pretty solid now. But yea, the Mets lineup is pretty bad on a daily basis.
nice call that's why they are down 5-1 already good work nover
actually not sure it was that great of call since they won over 3 on the team total for me. Actually the pitching was much worse then the lineup
Peterson, Gomez and Perez were a combined 2-for-10 with no runs scored and one RBI. Parra had a real nice game and is a good player - but he's a fourth OF.
So half of the Brewers' lineup wasn't composed of everyday players.
