ST. LOUIS AT MILWAUKEE
St. Louis goes for the 3-0 sweep today. I really don't like taking team's to get a sweep but I just can't lay off of this one. St. Louis comes in with a record of 12-4 while Milwaukee is 3-15. St. Louis is 25-9 in the last 34 meetings in Milwaukee. Lance Lynn (1-1 with a 1.56 era and a 1.10 whip) toe's the rubber for the Cardinals. He is 6-2 in his career against the Brewers, including 4-1 with a 1.85 era in six starts at Miller Park. He faces Mike Fiers (0-3 with a 6.75 era and a 1.70 whip). Fiers gave up two grand slams in his last outing and has yet to make a quality start not getting out of the 5th inning in any of his games.
I can honestly say this Brewer team looks lost at present. They are just playing bad baseball. The Cardinal's also got to rest their 8th and 9th inning reliever's yesterday, so they should be fresh. CB Bucknor is behind the plate today. In his four previous games behind the plate this year the visiting team has won each one.
