TOP PLAYS
3 UNIT PLAYS
Colorado/ LA Dodgers Over 6.5 (-120): Clayton Kershaw has had good numbers vs the Rockies, but he has not started out all that sharp this year and he is facing a healthy Colorado squad that has averaged 5 rpg in the early going of this year. Opposing Kershaw will be Kyle Kendrick, who does not have good numbers vs the Dodgers as he has a 5.40 ERA in his last 5 starts vs them and he has a 7.31 ERA in 8 games (5 starts) in this park. The Dodgers average 4.78 rpg overall, while at home they have put up 5.5 rpg and in their last 4 they have scored 6 rpg. They should be able to keep their scoring up in this one vs Kendrick, who has a 6.00 ERA through two starts this year. The Over is 6-0 the last 6 meetings and 19-6-1 the last 26 Dodger home games. Yes this is at Chavez Ravine, but this game features 2 hot hitting teams vs two struggling pitchers. Should hit at least 8 rather easily here.
WASHINGTON -1.5 (-105) over Philadelphia: The Nationals are starting to look like they are getting their act together and that should continue tonight vs a Philadelphia team that is not really that good. The Phillies have played with heart at times so far, but still they just don't have the talent or the offense to compete with a Washington team that should end up running away with this division before all is said and done. The Nats have a huge edge on the mound with Scherzer over O'Sullivan and their offense has averaged 6 rpg in their last 5 games, while the Phils have put up just 2.2 rpg over that same stretch. This should be an easy win for the Nats tonight.

BEST OF THE REST
ST LOUIS -124 over Cincinnati: Johnny Cueto is off to a rock solid start, but he has not had success vs the Cards in his career, especially in this park where he is 2-3 with a 5.80 ERA in 9 starts. Now he faces one of the best offenses in the league and I don' to expect him to look as good as he did in his first two starts this year. Johny did pitch well vs St Louis at home, but still lost 4-1 to Wacha, who is now 2-1 in his career vs the Reds with a 2.15 ERA. Michael has also pitched well at Busch, going 7-1 with a 2.31 in his career here. The Reds are not hitting the ball and they will need to score runs to beat the Cards in this one. I don't see it happening as St Louis continues is mastery over the Reds at home (44-19 L63 games here).
Chicago/ San Diego Over 7.5 (-115)
Seattle/ Texas Over 7 (-115)
Pittsburgh/ Milwaukee Under 7.5 (-115)
LA Angels -116 over HOUSTON
