CAVEAT: No pro gambler ever listens to me, but maybe some of the recreational bettors may!
For most bettors, I think following EVERY team in MLB is too much. It goes back to the "peanut butter approach" one I hate, where a bettor spreads himself out too thin, knowing just enough about all the teams in all the sports to be knowledgable, but NOT knowing enough to win.
The naysayers will argue "CBB bettors follow 300 teams! What's 30?". Well, I would come over the top and say that MOST would do better just following 2-4 CBB conferences than the whole board, AND CBB teams don't play every day.
The bottom line is that if you spend a scant 12 minutes a day on each team, that will cause you to work 3 hours a day just capping the National League. That's not watching any games, that's just doing your basic work on each team. I don't see how the Hours are there to do BOTH leagues, AND do your betting/reseach on other Summer sports AND every sleep.
I plan to take this TO AN EXTREME this year. I am going to follow the Cubs and the Reds this year, trying to watch every game I can. That's it. TWO teams.........let's see how I do immersing myself in just two (along with the WNBA).
On the capping front, we put our 38-18 LIFETIME 3* Record ON THE LINE, with a big 3* BEST BET in the NBA. Off a Thursday SWEEP, were are +28 units YTD and looking for more!
