Had a free winner yesterday on the Angels as they got it done in Boston. Will have another in a moment. Also want to thank those who were on board last night for the latest Triple Star winner as we rode the Baltimore Orioles and Chris Tillman to the window. Been on a solid run with baseball of late and have now hit on 16 of the last 18 baseball selections.
In today's moments in sports there was one item in particular that caught my eye. I don't know about you guys but when I was 17 I was into bird dogging girls and playing baseball this time of year. Only I was playing Legion ball. It was on this date back in 1945 that a young man named Tommy Brown of the Dodgers became the youngest player ever to go yard in the big's. The kid was 17 freaking years old. I have a vivid imagination but cannot envision the excitement that young man must have felt. Hell, just to be on a major league roster and on the field competing against big league competition. And to take a big league pitcher deep. Pretty damn cool. I remember back in the 1970's the Rangers owner Bob Short pressured skipper at the time Whitey Herzog to start a young man just out of high school named David Clyde. The kid literally went from the high school diamond to a major league start. He did okay at first but he was not really ready for the big show either physically or between the ears and his career never did take off. Herzog regrets it to this day.
On the business side I am still frankly studying today's board. If I publish a featured release I will tweet it out immediately as I always do. I was notified by the home office the 7 & 30 day packages are discounted 20% for today. I have a College football Triple Star also loaded up. The College football season package is up and last year we made 40 units profit in college ball when all was said and done after the bowls had run their course. All 35 of them, lol. The Triple Stars in the College game hit right at 70% on the button. The football all access packages are still available as well and you get every college and NFL release for $795. Last year between the College and NFL we ended up exactly 100 units when the dust settled. And that's based on the Pregame 1-3 star rating criteria.
Okay, that is it for today guys. Thanks as always and best of luck with your hump day action!
