Today's SDQL Video Query of the Day features two trends from the Yankees - Orioles game.

Here is a link to view :

While you're there, feel free to check out the NFL videos as well.  There are two sets -- one that demonstrates how to use the SDQL under the "How-To" menu and another that has a Video Query of the Day for the NFL under the NFL QOD menu.  During the season, the NFL Video Query of the Day will be ACTIVE for the upcoming week of actions.

Without the SDQL, you're just guessing.

team=Yankees and D and p:LHF and season=2014  0-6

I sent you a message via the conversations feature. Wink

Mr. Tyler,

Your examples are fantastic. How a team performs off a loss as a favorite is a real character-revealing stat.

With the Orioles in a 7-0 spot this season and the Yankees in an 0-6 spot this season, the Orioles were the right side at the price.

The Yanks must be deflated after going up 3-1, only to lose 11-3. Ouch. O's lost to Greene a month ago tomorrow. Maybe a little revenge is in order. Should've played the O's for the series.

Thank you DR. ED always enjoy your SDQL videos

question, for you.

how would you query

teams coming off an extra innings game which is their last game of the series, going on to road with 0 days rest.

thanks again.

The SDQL is:

SG=1 and A and rest=0 and p:X

These four parameters are:

series game equals one

the team is away

they have zero rest

their previous game went into extra innings.
