This is my first post. I have been using this amazing website which has been greatly beneficial for me. This past monday night miami opened 9.5 and i jumped all over it. Yes they did win by half of a point thats cuz smith shot a point less 3 miami did cover. I just dont understand y the line is -5 for tonights game. i was expecting -7 or higher. Is this a trap? is there something i missed? Lin is out stoudemire is out davis is hurt fields sucks and the only chance they had was with shumpert and poor guy is most prob on a surgical bed having reconstructive surgery. so again plz help me what im i missing? why is the line -5 ? dont tell me MSG! Lebron loves MSG he can score more then Anthony when it comes to msg. The only way i can see miami not covering -5 is lebron or wade getting injured or anthony scoring 75 pts which is impossible with lebron def!
Also I plan on putting players prop wade over 25 pts.

I hope everyone cashed on the game. Like Jeff said defense low scoring game. Heat pulled it off! I even cashed the Miami -12 for +215 line.

5 is worth more than 1 and 4, the same as 6, and worth less than every other number all the way to 12
You want a handicapping tip? Spend as much time getting a good number as you do researching games. Depositing/withdrawing/depositing/withdrawing is a bitch, but I guarantee you will lose less, or win more. I can't guarantee that for any other piece of advice

I agree with Griff if the Game is close and you are getting 5.5 is a Great chance you cash.. Where as if you have a 3 pt game down stretch guy misses 3 then fouls 5.5 win and 5 pushes it happens a lot in Basketball

Thanks casey. I agree with you and griff 5 in basketball is like 3 in football. and yes i am a miami fan and you need to know when to play Miami and when there is a trap. Ride miami till finals they not going to let u down. last year Miami choked in finals wade and james acting like little kids last year thought they owned the world and no one can touch them. I believe they have grown up and understand what needs to be done to win it all. there is no one in the east that can stop them. They will make it all the way to finals 12-0 sweep knicks Indiana and (atl or bos). I will take any line under -10. what worries me is the west. specially OKC. the finals should be fun games.
