NBA Playoffs "Market Update"..EVERY Sunday Game !!

With the early one going off soon, I'll get right to work...

UTAH vs SAS :

Sharper books don't want to come off -11 and instead chose to make the "public" lay -115 for the privilage of backing the FAV...and so far they don't seem to mind one bit.

BOTH the Wiseguys and Public agree the TOTAL opened too high and are leaving books exposed on the UNDER.

DEN vs LAL :

Wiseguys got out ahead of the public by laying -4.5 but then came back with +5.5 and more or less got OFF the game..But books will be exposed on the Lakers especially on Parlays & Teaser as the public is backing them and will continue to do so...Interested to see if a buy-order comes out if books adjust again by raising the price.

TOTAL is getting good 2-way money from Public and so far the wiseguys have NOT taken a side. Movers I spoke to do NOT expect to see this line get knocked out of whack to where there's enough value to step up.

BOS vs ATL :

Rare case where the books will be cheering in the HOME FAVORITE as bettors continue to back the Celtics and are even passing on the points and taking the better payout on the MONEY-LINE...Celtics will also be tied into tons of parlays and teasers and books may be forced to adjust for "pending" action in an attempt to entice sharps to get involved.

Another TOTAL that's getting good 2-way action from public but is NOT being used much on straight bets..instead it's mostly being tied into exotics which is great for the books since the action is split. Sharps have yet to take a position but don't be surprised to see some LATE STEAM today as bettors look to catch-up or double-up on the last day of the week...therefore forcing books to move some lines.

LAC vs MEM :

Another rare instance where the public is backing the ROAD DOG but wiseguys laid the price with the HOME FAV to offset much of the early action. Since this is a late game, books expect exposure on Clippers to mount and add in the "LIVE" parlays and teasers that will close out with them, and they'll be cheering in the wiseguys.

A DISAGREEMENT on the TOTAL between wiseguys and public is giving the books balance with the sharps going UNDER and recreational bettors backing the OVER. In fact, if more straight money isn't bet on the OVER by tip-off it'll be the so called "sharp" side that leaves books exposed...which is why they've lowered the price in an attempt to stop others from following that "steam"...And since I have NOT heard anything about this being a "set-up" play, we can conclude it to be a true position.
