I assume the initial report came from the mainstream media who reported the same thing. Popovich to sit Spurs "big three" against Warriors Monday via NBCSports.com
Even Rotoworld had this: The Spurs kick off a back-to-back-to-back road trip Monday in Golden State. Owners should be preparing for Tony Parker, Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili to be held out of at least one of the games.
Wire does say Ginobili "OUT". Clearly an issue with Manu's status. He's logged 15 minutes 1/2 thru the 3rd q.

Lax, at 6:31pm both Duncan and Parker were listed as out. At 7:17 pm they were upgraded to probable. Maybe you didnt check the report after 6:31pm?
Manu was OUT at 6:32pm with no update afterwards.
Sound's like coach Pop is up to something.
Lax...Being from the San Antonio media and covering the Spurs for 20 years, we all have learned its almost impossible to believe POP'S status claims of the players on multiple back to back road games. He is known for playing with players minds to either play them or rest them in these types of situations. Here is my point and theory on what occurred Monday night vs the Warriors, he initially wanted to rest the big 3, however something or someone must have triggered his mind to not pull that stunt, due to soooo much controversy it caused last time he did this a couple of weeks ago at Utah, he didn't even take the big 3 on the trip and apparently that boiled Sterns pot. Now, I'm pretty sure his goal and thought was to rest them so they could be ready vs Lakers tonight, but a sudden impact change to that plan triggered the change. This is clearly NOT pregames fault, as they were merely reporting what was available to all sports sites. Therefore making my point for many years , if you plan on wagering on the Spurs on the road, I advise to wait until literally 1 minute before you see who suits up and who doesn't. Hope this helps.
