We went with this Total for a few reasons. Cleveland may come out flat after their victory over the Clippers and they may also be looking ahead to Philadelphia. We can also say the same for the Bucks. Orlando is next on the slate, and they may not be entirely focused as well. More importantly, these teams have averaged a Total below this mark in their last five home/road games, with Cleveland posting 93.4 at home and Milwaukee at 96.2 on the road. This is very close to our mark, but over the past four meetings, their Totals have still fallen below the number at 190.8. I think this will be a defensive game keeping this Under intact. I also feel the Bucks take this game outright.
Our Side Play was a toss up between the Mavericks and the Thunder. I do believe Dallas will not lose a third game to the Timberwolves, but Oklahoma City is just in a very bad situation. Let's ask ourselves: Why is this line only 1.5? Oklahoma City is one of the best in the league. Are they begging us to take the Thunder? I think so. It seems too easy. Here is my angle: Oklahoma City will be traveling from Sacramento into altitude and they will be losing an hour in the process. Let's not forget they played last night and must adjust to this thin air in just hours before the game. Also, this will be the final game of their five-game road trip, AND the fourth road game in five nights. Yikes. You can bet that they are ready to get back home. Meanwhile, Utah has been resting for the past three days waiting for this game. Utah has started off nice this season, and they are not to be taken for granted. Oklahoma City will be arriving in Salt Lake tired, and I feel they will give everything they can tonight, but Utah is at an advantage here.
