The Lakers are definitely a exhausted team after last night's struggle with the Celtics on the road at Boston. The only player with fresh legs is young Bynum who Kobe refuses to include in the flow of the offense. "World Free" Artest simply does not get enough playing time, which cuts down on having a nice rebounder and 3 point shooter who Kobe trusts on the floor. Gasol continues to look lost, and despite his efforts to try to run the "new offense" that this ex Cleveland coach who nobody likes forces them to run, Gasol simply reverts to the "Phil Jackson" way of doing things as does Kobe. This all works somewhat until they play highly competitive teams, but slowly the league is figuring this ridiculous offense out. Of course when Kobe rests, the Lakers go on a resperator. Defensively, when they fall behind, they fall apart vs. better teams.Tonight the Knicks will take advantage of every aspect of the Laker faults (back to back fatigue) and win straight up. You simply can't pass up the four points and even though I say take the moneyline+ with the Knicks, the right thing to do is take the 4 points and laugh!

*****There was no show wagering in the 9th Race at Gulfstream, that we cashed in on, due to a small field of horses. We still got a super win and place price, as the public wagered a tad on our horse and we were 4th in the wagering win pool. I will take 2 1/2 to 1 everytime! Congrats to all community members who followed. We still have two more at the Fair Grounds which begins at 5:00 p.m. central this evening (Friday). Stay tuned. GL!

1st Race - BLOEMER GIRL....coming off a nice layoff and should be fresh and fit to beat this group. This one has tons of speed!!!!!
8th Race - AKA LILLY'S LAD.....speed of the race with a outside post in a 8 horse field. Should have no trouble sprinting clear, getting a comfortable lead and after getting over to the rail, will save ground and finish strongly after setting the pace.
9th Race - ISLAND SOUL.....This is the class of the race. This horse will control the pace and should win with complete authority. This is my BEST BET of THE DAY.
10th Race - SWEET JODY...this is a honest hard running horse and trainer James "Sweets" HODGES loves this one to take us all home a winner !!!!!
