Sorry for the late writeup, got caught up

First take a moment to process the line.  The Nuggets were a 5.5 point home favorite against the Clippers just a few days ago.  A Standard adjustment would put this line at a pick.  But, that doesn't take into account that Lawson was out.  He is huge for this team.  Both teams were also well rested for that game.

The Clippers are playing are on a back to back after playing an intense game last night and getting the win. Not only are they on a B2B, this is their 4th game in 5 nights.  Take into account the Lawson injury and the Clippers schedule and does the adjustment still put this at a pick?  Nope

4 games in 5 nights is tough on anybody, but now consider that they have had to travel each time. They had to travel into the altitude and play Denver, then travel back to the west coast to play a home game against a tough OKC team.  Then they headed back into the altitude to play a tough game in Salt Lake City, and now they travel back to play a home game against the Denver.  That is pretty brutal.

On the Other hand, the Nuggets should be well rested.  They had the day off yesterday, and haven't had to play back to back games since the 20th and 21st.

This is also a revenge game for Denver with the Clippers beating them on Sunday in Denver 109-105.  Note that Ty Lawson did not play in that game.  Ty Lawson is a huge key for this Denver team. He allows them to run teams into the ground, especially a team that should be fatigued like the Clippers.

What about the line movement.  SportsbookSpy has 63% on the Clippers, yet this line has now made a swing of 3 points (the line just hit -1 Denver at Bookmaker).  You can expect the Public to back Lob City.... the sharp money is on Denver.

Just settled into the recliner and got around to reading the write-up. Great stuff, as usual, Mike. Always enjoy reading your work. Denver is making FTs and getting boards. That's nice. We play even in the 3rd and the fitness factor should play out in the 4th.

Not to mention, the Clips shot 50% from 3 ball land in the last game and Billups had his best game of the season.  Nuggets running and gunning tonight.  I already cashed on the first half after a flurry by the Nugs in the second qtr.  Good luck the rest of the way Mike, Nuggets looking like they are on a mission.  Most exciting team in the NBA and they have no super stars, go figure.
