Portland Trail BlazersI live in Portland and follow the Blazers very closely! I decided to stick with betting purely Blazer games throughout the entire season. I am currently at 9 wins and 2 losses on the season with +6.18 units. I plan to post before each game on this post from here on out. Feel free to follow, bet and enjoy the season!! Good luck and have fun!! 2016-2017 Season Record: 25-19 (+4.09 units) 56.8%
11/15 - Chicago +3.5
11/17 - Houston -3.5
Houston should be able to match Portland shot for shot. Neither team plays the best defense and I believe Houston is an easy favorite here. I'll swallow the -3.5 in what should be a 4th quarter blowout.
11/18 - Portland Pick
Portland has been banged up recently with Aminu out and Crabbe possibly hurt last night. This game should come down to the wire. I don't perceive a blowout loss by the Blazers and Lilliard should go off tonight. The spread opened at -3.5 and has quickly moved to -2. New Orleans has a team, but it's a 2-10 team. Portland is significantly better and should have some bench players step up.
Update: Portland Pickem - I'll take that all day!! I was assuming the line would keep heading toward that and should stay there until tipoff. Let's roll!!!
Nice run, keep it rolling bro GL.
NFL RECORD 2016
CFB RECORD 2016
11/20 - Portland -4.5
Name one star on the Brooklyn Nets roster... still waiting... Portland should move the ball and keep it in the hands of the hot hand. Time to turn this losing streak around.
11/22 - New York -1.5
Portland may have put points up on Brooklyn, but the Knicks are a different team throughout. Portland is still trying find their team chemistry and I see that happening for some time to come. They are a little banged up and the hot hand keeps going around besides CJ. This should be a close game unless Portland can't put up points, which has been a common theme as of late. I'll take the Knicks in this coin flip.
Interesting thread Shimii.
Good luck this season to you!
Thanks Butcher! My wife still hates it, but enjoys watching the games with me! Enjoy your season too!
11/23 - Cleveland -11.5
The line opened at -11 and has already moved. I project the line to continue to move in Clevelands favor, especially after their loss to a subpar Knicks team. It is Portland's last game of their 5 game road trip in which they are sitting at 1-3. I see a huge hangover tomorrow from their New York trip. The holidays are close and Portland is looking to come home. Defense is not their strong suit and the Cavs should run up and down on a beat up Blazer team.
