I'm not saying Toronto will definitely win this series. However, not only did they play well at home, the team chemistry was there. Lowry and DeRozan seemed to be locked in and focused. DeRozan waited at the end of the game for Lowry to be done with his court-side interview and then dapped him up and walked with him to the locker room with his arm around him. They seem to have put the problems aside at this point. The problems may resurface but things have improved. If I were the Cavs, I would not be banking on home-court to lift them in this one. Next game will be hard-fought.
I was sitting in Westgate when Toronto ended the Miami series. I turned to my boss and said "If Lowry plays like this, they have a shot at beating Cleveland." Well now we see how big of a component Lowry is. Hopefully he can keep the confidence up.
