Tuesday night's NBA schedule has just 5 games. The following is my brief analysis of the Wizards at Knicks -1.5 (-2 FSI), 8:00pm.
So, Derek Fisher is gone as coach of the Knicks, replaced on an interim basis by Kurt Rambis. Will this have an impact on tonight's game? Beyond the FSI? I think it does.
Rambis indicates he will stress D which will help counter the Wizards' formidable offense. Additionally, Washington's 29th ranked opponents eFG% should allow New York to find some offensive rhythm.
Playing at MSG in the first game after the coaching change should also give the Knicks an edge. I think it will be close, but expect New York to pull this one out.
The FSI was 4-6 on Monday to stand at 301-323-11 (48%) on the season. Tuesday's Picks and FSI spreads below:
Pick (units) FSI Spread
MIA +6.5 (0.5 unit) SAS -6
NYK -1.5 (0.5 unit) NYK -2
BOS -4.5 (5.5 units) BOS -10
UTA +2 (5 units) UTA -3
HOU +14.5 (0.5 unit) GSW -14
Good luck, players!
