With the NFL season concluded, the NBA take center stage for a while. Monday's card features 10 games. The following are my thoughts on a couple of tonight's more interesting matchups.
The Bulls are in Charlotte -6 in an Eastern Conference game featuring the 6th and 9th place squads. The FSI is pretty much in agreement here, but the Bulls' 3rd in the NBA defensive eFG% helps them earn a +5 FSI spread in the matchup.
In the West, Portland visits Memphis -3.5 tonight. The Grizzlies are currently 5th, while the Trail Blazers are 9th, one game out of a playoff spot behind Utah. Memphis' dismal .478 eFG% makes them overrated according to the FSI which rates Portland -2 here.
1-1 with Sunday's picks to bring the season tally to 297-317-11 (48%) ATS. Monday's Picks (units) and FSI Spreads below.
Pick (units) FSI Spread
CHI +6 (1 unit) CHA -5
CLE -10 (2 units) CLE -12
IND -11.5 (3.5 units) IND -15
LAC -9 (3 units) LAC -12
DEN -2 (0.5 unit) DEN -2
TOR -1.5 (1.5 units) TOR -3
ATL -7.5 (2.5 units) ATL -10
POR +3.5 (5.5 units) POR -2
MIN -1.5 (4.5 units) MIN -6
OKC -13 (3 units) OKC -16
BOL, players!
