Ten games on tap for this Friday evening. The following are my thoughts on a couple of noteworthy matchups.
The Celtics -7 (-5 FSI) are in Cleveland tonight. I think the Cavs win here, but I agree with the FSI in that the number is too high. Boston has the 4th best defensive eFG% at .473 which will keep them in it.
Memphis is in New York tonight as a 3.5 point favorite (-1 FSI). The Grizzlies have won 4 in a row and 9 of 10, while the Knicks are struggling with losses in 7 of their last 8. Why does the FSI say take NY here? Because MEM is 29th in offensive eFG% while NYK is 8th defensively in eFG%. Plus NY is at home.
Season FSI record is now 284-308-11 ATS (48%) after going 2-2 on Thursday. Friday's FSI picks below:
Pick (units) FSI Spread
IND +5 (1 unit) ATL -4
MIA +1 (1 unit) CHA PK
LAC -4.5 (2.5 units) LAC -7
