All that everyone is talking about is the Spurs’ 16-4 run in the last 20 games of the regular season. Well, let’s not forget that the Clippers also went 16-4 to end the year. Clippers were just as ‘hot’ as the Spurs. One could make a case that Clippers were actually the 2nd best team in the league as their +6.6 point-differential indicates – Spurs were 3rd, @ +6.2. People will point out that Cilppers lack depth on their bench, but in the playoffs ‘bench’ isn’t very important. Starters play more minutes, there’s at least a day-off in between games, and overall depth in the post-season is vastly over-estimated. Clippers should not be underdogs at home to anyone except maybe Golden State Warriors and I’ll back them in such a spot tonight. Keep in mind Spurs are only 22-19 on the road this year after going 30-11 away from home last year. This is not as prolific of a team as we all remember last year, and they are beatable, especially away from home.
Good Luck
