Who are these so-called sharps we're talking about?
Don't sharps normally try to stay under the radar as much as possible to be able to maximize their bets? Isn't that also why they might have to employ runners? If a so-called sharp is giving games away, usually, isn't that to draw you into buying their higher opinioned picks or pick packages? That being the case, how much value do the free picks hold? Also, how much value would their for sale picks hold for you if you aren't able to see accurate and transparent longer term records?
Anyone can have a recent hot streak- would that make them a so-called sharp when their overall record might be dog-crap? I would still like to see a few names of cappers that are really sharp in more than one sport. Their are many who sell picks under the guise of being the so-called sharp but they couldn't produce accurate, transparent, longer term records that would legitimize their so-called sharp expertise (IMO).
There is however a lot of money to be made in the marketing of picks to people who might believe the hype surrounding the so-called sharp tag. This is also why you see so many complaining about how disappointed they are in the results of the picks they've purchased. After all, if the pick or package of picks came from a real, legitimate sharp- you would probably expect for them to hit at a higher rate than you might be able to do on your own.
