Miami continues to sag, as the Heat have dropped 6 of last 9 SU through March 20, and LeBron James sat out with back spasms on Wednesday...not good news for the defending champs. That being said, New Orleans might be just the tonic to snap Miami out of its slump, as the Heat have won and covered last 5 against the Pelicans, and New Orleans had covered only 5 of last 18 overall prior to visiting Atlanta last night. Both teams are playing the second night of back-to-back games, and Miami is 14-8 vs. the points the last two seasons on the road when unrested. First meeting this season was all Heat, as Miami cruised to a 19-point decision behind James’ 32 points. Heat scores 104 ppg & leads the league in FG%, while the Pelicans have given up 110 ppg in their last 12 through March 20.
Thanks & BOL!
