What an Opener...Cats’ are pitchin’ a bitch

2012 NBA WESTERN CONFERENCE FINALS

Tue May 29, 2012 | 9:10 PM, EDT | TNT-TV
AT+T Center | San Antonio, Texas

GAME #2 | WCF
2 OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
1 SAN ANTONIO SPURS

(San Antonio Spurs Lead Series, 1-0)

Thunder really let Game 1 slip thru their fingers

w/SAS’s 2ND shift grasping for answers,
Pop’s Prolific Band of Bench forces
(Particularly Spurs’ Super-Rook’, Leonard
was at wits end w/what to do w/”35/Blue”)
Were truly staggering w/about 15 Minutes to Play

SAS was suddenly unable to get many ‘TRUE’ stops
Yet – as we all know, (Fitting Coaching colloquial)

SAN ANTONIO, ‘HELD ONTO THEIR GUTS’

If San Antonio has few answers for Kevin Durant,
Likewise MUST be said for OKC vs. SAS Pick-n-Roll

SURE, Ibaka is NBA’s #1 Shot Blocker (3.7/Gm)
As Dr O’Neal astutely points out,
Shot Blockers bring 2 differing (primary) styles,

1. BIGGEST of BIGS/BRUTE POWER, Straight up-Types
(Bynum | Hibbert | Howard)
2. WEAKSIDE, QUICK-FEET Guys
(IBAKA | J McGee | Josh Smith)

Ibaka was presumably in Duncan’s head early,
SAS quickly adjusted
(OKC 8 Blk 1H | OKC 1 Blk 2H (Ibaka 2 TTL)

Not only will we see a steady diet of SAS Surgical Pick-n-Roll
Especially after Spurs nailed a spectacular 22 FG’s at RIM
(Additionally, 57.9% of SAS Made FG’s were Made at RIM)
SAS 22-33 at Rim | 16-49 Jumpers

We also should see continual PACE we saw in Game 1

BOTH TEAMS arguably got what they wanted offensively
Accomplishments = More of the same

Also, SAS gets to line an Avg amount,
Yet, Spurs MUST obtain more than FOUR Made FT’s thru 33 Min
(as they did in Game 1)

Both Benches continue their sensational production
OKC 37 PTS (51.7%) | SAS 52 PTS (59%)
BOTH Benches shot 6-13 from Deep (45.4% Each)

Not surprising, as each Team came in at #1 & #2 Playoff FG &
Both Teams are in LOWEST Half of 16 Playoff Teams
In FG Defense (#8 | #10)

REALLY like OVER here

2½ UNIT
OKLAHOMA CITY
SAN ANTONIO | OVER 201 (Bet-365)

____________

½ UNIT
OKLAHOMA CITY
SAN ANTONIO -4½
_________

All the best, guys

OKC was +11 with Sefalosha on the floor, and -11 with Harden on the floor.  Harden can't cover Ginobilli, and his stats looked good because of end of game 3's, but he's really had 3 straight bad games.  If Sefalosha gets more minutes OKC will likely give up at least 5-10 points.
