Prime...thanks for input, I assure you sir, not going 7
7, lol clippers win one game in LA at most and none in SA! The games may be closer but the clippers dont have a fraction of the depth that the spurs have and they only have one guy on the entire team that can create his own shot. CP cannot do it all and the world will say Tony Parker is theharder player to defend after this series.
Delnegro does know the spurs as well as anybody but it wont matter when you have Parker running your offense special things are going to happen.
Parker would never and I mean never turn the ball over on three straight trips down the floor without a pass or a shot like CP did in game 6, then hit 50% from the stripe down the stretch when your team needed you to step up.
The spurs have more depth, better scoring team, better coach, and home court, the only aspect thats close to me is defensive effort when the clippers are focused. When they lapse it can get ugly and has before! The spurs are defense oriented and I dont think the clippers have a chance of holding them under 100 and they cant get there!
Spurs may not cover 11-12 but they will spend a good portion of the game up dbl digits and they are very capable of destroying the clippers. Those 26-1 runs to close out games wont happen to this spurs team, like it did to memphis. so the clipps better figure out another way to score other than pick and roll... if they are going to stay in these games.
Spurs in 5 they will probably cover 3-4 games ATS vs the Clippers
Ill fade a bet anybody wants to place up to a dime that says spurs/clippers does not go 7! Dont know what kind of odds they would want but...
Spurs know CP3 all to well and have always been a thorn in his side.....that being said, all their past playoff games were always close games (with in double digits, well the majority if I recall corectly)....but that was with the hornets, but that still gives these teams a lot of familiarity with the players and past performances to go off of.....
"EVERY DOG HAS HIS DAY"
I think the Spurs bench is too deep for the Clippers and that will be the difference! Spurs will run & gun & knock down big 3-pointers behind a amped up homecrowd! I believe this juicy dog is a public trap b/c everyone will want to plus the Clippers getting double digits.......I smell a rat in this line and can see this shaping into a public disaster play....
spurs are even deeper 4 sure
In the playoffs when the home team is rested in game #1 vs a team on 0 or 1 days rest the home team is 9-0 winning by an avg margin of 18.4 ppg since 2003
Not much of a sample size, but its the Spurs or nothing IMO
Motivation is a powerful tool!
If the spurs have been your ATM for the last 15 games they have played they are 13-1-1 for me so its a no brainer! If you are just trying to get on board then go with whatever handicap you come up with. But I dont care what the line is I would have already put it in but I think its going to go to 10.5 and Im going to buy it to 10 -120 and Ill win my 1/2 dime and be happy... Not to mention if Griff smells a rat its not far away
