James harden had a great game last night in helping the Rockets to fight another day, but as dave notes it wasn't all him as the Rockets were up 27-13 before he even scored a point. He really got his mates involved in the game early, before he took over. It was truly a team victory. That's really what mattered in the game. Still with Houston there is allot of roulette in play as they will take bad shots and allow you to stay in games. Last night was not one of those games.
Scott states that the difference between Houston and Atlanta is that the Rockets have a go to guy like Harden, while Houston does not. They just don't have a player like Harden that can put the team on their shoulders.
Klay Thomson had a few good minutes last night, but they will they need many more minutes like that from him if they hope to beat Cleveland? Steve feels they can't do it without him shining, because Draymon Green is playing like an all-star.
Josh Smith likes to take 3s and he has been making them in the playoffs, which is unusual for a guy that is a candidate to be fouled on purpose. Dave does state that he was not a good 3-point shooter during the course of the regular season and he feels that if your the opposing coach then you are happy with him taking 3s.
The Warriors did have a media advisory that stated that they will get the 4-0 sweep in this series and Scott wonders why you would give a team extra motivation like that.
