Yesterday was a great opportunity with the Denver Nuggets. They fired a coach that 'everyone' knew they despised, Shaw. Money HAD showed on Milwaukee vs. the "dead" Nuggets as the line had inflated up to Mil -6. Money immediately came in on Denver and the game closed 5.5. Further, money POURED in on the Nuggets, as it was clear Denver planned to play more wide open under their interim coach.
After the news hit, it became a 'trend player' vs. "math player' battle. The math guys landed on Milwaukee and fired on them, the trend players bet ON Denver (fired coach angle) and the BEST bettors recognized this WAS the best part of the trend, firing a HATED coach!
Bottom line, this one game illustrates why math geeks with computers need to find ways to get abstract things in their models. The Denver Coach Firing was likely worth a good 4-5 points in the line........and simply didn't get priced correctly. IT would be nice to just feed data into a computer and win, but games like this show often there is more to it than that!
On the capping front I am red hot 12-2 run, AND +24 units YTD. We FIRE away today, I have three best bets already up! Let's roll!
