Good Afternoon PreGamers!
The Cleveland Cavaliers travel to Houston on Sunday to take on the Rockets in a nationally televised afternoon game. LeBron James will be back in action after resting Friday night and is coming off a 42 point outing in a win over the Golden State Warriors last Thursday. Cleveland found themselves in a bad spot on Friday with James and Irving both sitting out as the Pacers came out as 93-86 winners. If there ever was ever a ‘Let-Down’ spot in the NBA, the game on Friday was certainly it for the Cavs.
It has been ‘Home Sweet Home’ for the Rockets this season; they are 22-8 SU and 19-11 ATS at the Toyota Center thus far this campaign and have won the first four games of a five-game home-stand. Houston are coming off a 102-98 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Friday as they grabbed their eighth victory in the last nine home games.
Despite playing without All-Star C Dwight Howard for most of the season, Houston has been able to continue playing solid basketball behind MVP candidate James Harden. Terrance Jones has also been very well, Jones has really been playing well as of late, averaging 15.0 points, 10.6 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 3.0 blocks over his last five games.
With Cleveland being installed a slight underdog; I see the majority of the betting market all over the road team in this one. However, I see the value side being on the home team on Sunday as the Rockets will make it a very tough afternoon for LeBron and company. This Line will not last for long, I recommend waiting for all the ‘Market’ money to come in on Cleveland and you should get Houston at PK or better.
