Looks like 3 NBA plays for Sunday. Grabbing them tonight because 1 or 2 of them, especially the Golden State Total, I believe may take a jump so I want the early line on these 3. Check the CBB posts for my CBB plays. Been doing a lot of winning, hope you've followed along. and made money with us.
Golden State/Boston Over 214.5 (2.5 units) Lots of value in this due to the way Boston is playing, much higher scoring ball, with their new players. Isiah Thomas really pushes the pace of play, which will play into Golden State's ability to match that. I see these teams trying to beat each other down the court and puch the issue when in the halfcourt. I am not as good with Totals as I am sides, so I generate far fewer of them. I checked with the best totals guy at The Phoenix, and he agrees with this play and my analysis. We are going to take the Over here at The Phoenix.
Indiana -11.5 (2.5 units) We like looking at playing against Philly when they are playing a team that needs every win, and therefore is not going to look past the 76ers. Indiana fits the bill. They need every win they can get to make the playoffs, which they clearly are trying to make. They've been playing hard, and this 76er team cannot keep up with a team that gives it their all, they just are not good enough. The value with the 76ers comes when they are playing a team that is less than 100% interested and dedicated to the game that night. Then the 76ers can take advantage and get some swagger going, but not against a focused team.
New Orleans -5.5 (2 units) This looks like a bad call to any moderate sports investor. Taking the road favorite, who is off a win, and is missing a myriad of their top players including an MVP candidate, to cover a big spread! That tells you what our analysis of the Nuggets is here at The Phoenix. In the NBA the biggest advantage you can get is when a team who is giving it 100% is playing a completely disinterested team, and their has never been a more disinterested team than the Nuggets. meanwhile, New Orleans has been hurt due to injuries, much like Indiana, and also much like Indiana needs every win the can get and is obviously trying very hard to get each one. I'm going to keep going against these Nuggets for now.
Coming off an undefeated 3-0 (possibly minus the juice of a buy back on Atlanta if you bet it early) day here on posted plays Saturday, and a far better day with all our picks. Been lots of those lately, Lets keep it going. NCAA Conference Tournaments are my personal bread and butter.
