Houston -7
The Celtics are in their first game back from a road trip that had them go from the Pacific time zone, Mountain, and back to Pacific. Fresh off a 4 games in 5 days stretch the Celtics have to play a much better Rockets team. They are a little banged up right now with Kelly Olynick already out, Avery Bradley and Evan Turner missed practice on Thursday. Save for a couple losses to Golden State - no shame in that - the Rockets are playing very well right now and I think we're getting some line value because Dwight Howard is out. The Celtics don't have a great front line anyways so it's not as big a deal. Plus, under the radar Power Forward Terrence Jones is back in the line-up which makes up for some of what Howard brings. Houston has taken advantage of losing opponents, going 11-1 ats in their last 12 against below .500 teams. The Celtics have been playing well recently but I just don't see them hanging with this Houston team with the tough schedule spot.
