2014 - 2015 NBA Record
48 – 26 @ 0% for +19.4 Units
-----------------------------
#1: Portland Trail Blazers -5.5
This is similar to when I faded the Hornets when they hosted LAC, who were -3.5 road favorites. The Blazers are an even better team than the Clippers, which I guess helps explain the higher spread. In addition, Neal will be out tonight. He brings much needed scoring off the bench, and without him this 22nd ranked offense (26th in eFG%) will be even more mediocre than usual. Portland is an elite team and I have no problem laying a few points with them on the road.
#2: Milwaukee Bucks -1.5
Minnesota is down to their 3rd string PG, the rookie Zach LaVine. Both Rubio and Mo Williams are out. LaVine has a 5.5 PER, a 1.3 A/TO ratio (Rubio is at 3.3 and Williams at 2.7), and is shooting 33% from the field. The fact that this kid is not ready for an NBA game just yet, is an understament. Well, today he’ll be facing the 8th ranked Bucks D who rank 6th in defensive TO-rate. We could see a very inefficient Minnesota offense in this one. I know Milwaukee played last night, but they are a deep team and none of the starters played major minutes. Besides, they had 2-full days off prior to yesterday. I don’t see fatigue being an issue. Milwaukee is 5-3 ATS on the road and 4-0 ATS as a listed favorite, and I like them to keep those trends going tonight.
Good Luck
