If I can add my two cents regarding the most important topic in this thread (in my opinion): Ace of Spades Champagne. Granted quality is subjective and life is too short to do things you don't like. Having said that, most people in the business don't really take Armand de Brignac Champagne very seriously. It is socially-accepted as being an under-achiever after factoring in the price point. There are much better examples of high-quality, "high-end" Champagne available. Furthermore, when it is tasted side-by-side with almost any other "high-end" Champagne you can and will see that most Armand de Brignac's wines take the backseat. If you really want something at that level that is actually worth the money search out any of the following: Vilmart Grand Cellier Rubis Rose vintage, Krug Clos du Mesnil (if you really want to ball), Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill, Taittinger Comtes de Champagne, Bollinger Grand Annee Rare, Salon Cuvee S, Billecart-Salmon Brut Cuvee N.F. Billecart, Jacquesson Vintage Signature, Henriot Cuvee des Enchanteleurs, Veuve Clicquot Grande Dame Brut, etc. I could keep listing but I think you get my drift. Bottom line: Just because a wine surfaces on the hip-hop scene it doesn't automatically gain credibility amongst the wine world.
