The NBA season is right around the Corner and Dave and Teddy will take a loot at a few NBA Win totals.
First do you like of hate betting on the NBA. Dave is selective in the NBA, but hates watching it. I agree with that. I would much rather watch the Colleges.
Still there are some good bets to be made in the NBA. Teddy has been doing better in the NBA the last couple of years. Especially from mid-season on.
One theory that Dave has as far as win totals play go is to look to play against teams that has problems in the front office, as that tends to filter down to the rest of the team. One team in this instance is the Atlanta Hawks, who will be losing their owner soon and their GM has taken a leave of absence. Their OU Win total is 41, but Dave doesn't feel that they can win half their games.
The Clippers are a team that dealt with front office issues last year, but there may be a team that really takes off now that those problems are behind them.
The Lakers are lined from 31-33 and neither Dave or Teddy feels they can win 30 games. Both Teddy and Dave feel that the team with the best record in the NBA this year could have more wins than the Celtics and Lakers combined.
The power in the NBA is still in the West. The Cavs may develop into an elite team, but also may be a play against team early on. The Bulls look solid, but they need Rose to stay healthy all year.

In the West you can make a case for Sacramento/ Denver or Utah being a playoff team in the East, but not in the west.
Durant is an enormous loss for the Thunder and until he comes back they may be a .500 team at best. Teddy's thought is to bet against the Thunder early and often this season.
