  • Great reply Dwayne, love the analysis; professional.  Lots of unknowns here, but aren't all the NBA games?  Once again, great writeup w/ analysis.  Thank you for your reply.  & congrats on your awesome football run, nice work.

  • Dwayne Bryant
Two games ago, the Heat went into Phoenix as a six-point dog and upset the Suns, 109-105.  So a letdown was only natural, and that's exactly what happened in their last game. They lost by 10 in LA to the Clipps.  So a bounce-back is very possible tonight, but this is the Heat's second roadie on back-to-back nights, third in four days, and fourth game overall in the last six days.  So there's a definite fatigue possibility tonight.

In essence, they are probably getting tired of their George Foreman grill and being holed up in some hotel.  Too much party potential in LA and now have to travel into Utah - the state of no fun.  Gotta feel like they smoked all their travel "stash" and are anxious to get back to some good ole' salsa music.  Tough grind out West, but haven't the Heat also been known for laying  big skid marks during the coarse of a season?  Something fishy here for sure.........

  • Hey RBF - appreciate the little mini-shout out to my NBA blog! I actually had, as you probably already read, a similar take to Dwayne, in terms of both teams being in "down" spots. The side does look extremely high, though, and moving up, which makes you think Utah will win big. Stink...stank...stunk!

  • Dan, tried to direct people wanting a take on this game to your blog.  True that it looks like they are trying to scare you off of this game for sure w/ a high line w/ teams involved.  However, somebody or something moved this line before most books put out their opening line.  Enough of a factor to adjust the line up 1/2 pt, where it sits now.  Only books with an early opening line were tagged early, maybe not wanting to tip off a movement here - don't know.  Certainly strange that Utah hasn't covered in ages in this matchup, but situationally looks like a good spot for some jazz.  Going to go out on a limb 2nite, and play this one small.  Played Memphis last week - loser; and other than that haven't dabbled in the NBA for a few weeks; esp. w/ football & cbb in play now.  Main reason for investigation was the small board today and in the NBA I usually try to find possibly the worst bet on the board and take a stab - that's how I roll !!  It's just too uncanny to see the Jazz here laying monster chalk for this matchup and something smells.  Somebody or a large collective group with similiar beliefs wanted this one right out of the oven, and I figure the reason could very well be disclosed 2nite.  Tried to research background bio on said refs; like what church they attend and the such - but no dice.  Pretty much just dickin' off this monday, as actually working at work doesn't thrill me today.  Just have to give the hunch a go on this one.

CBB play - 'ville/nova under 153.5  (stolen from BEK's play list)

Both small, try to keep the juices flowing on a Monday (mnf withdrawals) & testing the gambling gods fate here tonight, maybe will shine good fortune on my BB picks - cause you know; sometimes dumb luck is better than all the reasons in the world. - GL bro'

  • ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE REFS POST.WISH I COULD GET THAT ON EVERY BET.PLEASE SHARE HOW YOU GOT INFO.BASEBALL BET HOMEPLATE UMPIRE.BET THE REFS NOT THE GAME.THEY CONTROL WHO WINS AND LOSSES!!!

  • Matt O'shea always used to preach about referees in the NBA, and I chuckled as well; until the numbers started getting right.  Nice sample out there now to get a feel on how a ref calls the game.  Its often the deciding factor ATS in pro hoops - esp. totals.  Information is easily attainable (google) to find out which refs are calling the games (posted @ 9:00est), and then you can look up records for each referee #'s as I have posted here.

Fact:  NBA refs can be bought !!

Another fact:  Subconscious behavior is rarely addressed and continues its repetition unless met w/ a catalyst.

Mobig Wins, if you still have trouble finding these culprits, let me now.  Apple Pie !!

Furthermore, there are several online articles regarding this Wunderlich cat (head ref 2nite) and how he has stabbed visiting teams in the back.  Could be on the take, and now calling a game for Utah...hmmmmmmmmm.

  • Notice how the betting % went up on this game once the public got involved.  Was up to almost 58% mid-day Utah.  Now 61% on the Heat.  However, line has not moved, they will give the public all that want in this one.

  • Thanks for the stars Dan.  A no-sweat winner last night, never in doubt.  It looks like it was blowout Monday in the NBA.  Might try to make a play a day, to keep the doctor away - however, got my annual physical this morning; so we will see what this lifestyle brings. - GL & again thanks.  I'll be looking out for Wunderlich..............

  • My pleasure, RBF....now, turn your head and cough
