My vote goes to Loyola Marymount. The Lions ranked last in scoring, scoring margin at minus 15.7 points, field goal shooting and were 319th out of 330 schools in rebounding margin. They lost 28 of 31 games.

It's nice to have a job, any type of job in today's wretched economy. But Jim Fassel can't be too thrilled. Fassel coached the New York Giants to the Super Bowl in 2000. But after six years of being mentioned as a head coaching candidate for various NFL teams, Fassel is now heading the Las Vegas entry in the new United Football League.
Good luck with that one Jim. Las Vegas is littered with failed rinky-dink failed pro sports franchises.
My National League 5X5 Rotisserie league has one opening. It's a keeper league with an auction format. We draft in Las Vegas on April 4, a Saturday morning. It's a mid-range money league with the top four spots being paid. It's a 12-owner league.
The rosters go quite deep and there is a minor league draft following the auction. So you really would have to know the National League and be passionate about commiting to a strong, long-standing Las Vegas league.

Ironically, Loyola Marymount is the reason St. Mary's and SDSU didnt get it. Without games against them, both SMU and SDSU's RPIs would have been 20 points higher and they would have been locks...

Loyola Marymount is bad but I think they would beat NJIT by 10-12, and blowout the worst team in Div.1, Alcorn State by at least 20. The SWAC schools, where the majority of the conference is below 310 in the rpi is pretty bad.
Although this may be true College Basketball gives the little guys a chance where as College Football has no such system and the National Championship Games are decided by a popularity vote instead of the last 2 teams standing battling for the crown. Yes some teams may have been slighted but they could of punched their own ticket to the dance let's not forget that...
