Who is the worst player in the NBA? It's easy to point out deep reserves who never play. But to make it somewhat realistic, we have to pick out a player who actually has been drawing minutes.
With that as a criteria, my candidate is Adam Morrison of the Charlotte Bobcats. He beats out a number of Washington Wizards. Given a chance to fill in for injured Gerald Wallace, the Bobcats' leading scorer, Morrison has averaged 20 1/2 minutes during the past four games. He's scored the grand total of 17 points, while grabbing four rebounds and dishing off two assists while playing no defense. He's also committed 15 fouls, nearly a foul a minute.
For his short NBA career, Morrison is shooting 37.3 percent from the floor, 71.6 percent from the foul line, getting less than a steal and block per game and 2.4 rebounds.
Does anyone care that the Pro Bowl is Sunday? I sure don't. The game should be done away with. There is no upside. Stars opt out fearing injury. One of these years a superstar is going to get seriously hurt and then the NFL finally will figure out this exhibition isn't worth staging, unlike the baseball and basketball All-Star games.
You're ripping on the 'Stache? Good call.
He's a Laker now - one more reason to root against them.
It's like playing the card game "Old Maid" and Morrison is the old maid. I don't think it will be too long before the Lakers deal him.
adam morrison, good thing the Blazrs did not draft him, instead we got 2 All stars!
Maybe so, but I am an NBA champion!
Was that Adam Morrison posting for real
The worst player I've ever seen is Shawn Bradley.
