Road teams love Bill Kennedy this yearSorry guys, but I don't have a lot to report this week but still wanted to get you the updated numbers through Wednesday's games. I've looked at playing sides more over the last week without too much success and should have incorporated some anti-homer refs into my picks (see below). The top trends right now seem to be betting against home teams with Tony Brown or Bill Kennedy calling their games, as the road teams are a combined 15-2 ATS in that situation. I'll be looking more closely at these on Friday with the big schedule and return with a free play Remember you can always find the daily referee assignments by clicking here.
Invaluable AS ALWAYS, MATTY
Thanks Steve - added today's free play below...
506 IND / 505 ORL UNDER 201.5
Analysis: This line hit 205 earlier after opening at 202 and has since fallen to the current number. Why the sudden drop? Well, we have two referees calling this game in Steve Javie and Kevin Fehr who have seen the UNDER cash in 14 of their 16 games so far, averaging 180 points between them. In addition, the third ref - Derek Richardson - has seen the UNDER cash in the last five Orlando games he has called and go 8-2 in the last 10 Indiana games he has been involved with. The UNDER is also 8-3 in the last 11 meetings between the Magic and Pacers, 12-4 in Orlando's last 16 road games and 7-3-1 in Indiana's last 11 home games. I'm following all of these trends and betting the UNDER as my Double Dime NBA Total Play O' the Week.
FYI guys, this line is now down to 200, which is a 5-point drop from the high of 205 earlier. This is not a coincidence.
People know about this info now because it's now public knowledge and bet accordingly...
Looks like you guys could have gotten a nice middle as it's back up to 203.
Overtime?? for real?
Nice job Matty
Nice hit Matty....................I was glad to take the push on that game.....That shooting was horrid....Nice call
Thanks guys - it's amazing that we got this with OT. This is exactly what happened last year on one of my Triple Dime totals. Horrible fourth quarter got the job done.
Great hit here Matty, just solid work as always.
Thanks buddy - this was one of those Luck O' the Irish plays LOL
Adding this one for Saturday...
714 NOH / 713 OKL OVER 190.5
Analysis: Following the strong referee trends that benefit us on our UNDER play on Friday, we will go the other way here and take the OVER in a very similar situation. Refs Zach Zarba and Mike Callahan have seen the OVER cash in 14 of their 16 games so far this season. In addition, the third ref Rodney Mott has seen the OVER cash in six of his nine games. All three refs combined have seen an average of more than 203 points scored in their games. I also like the fact that this is the second game of a home-and-home series played on back-to-back days, so both teams should be a bit tired defensively. Bet the OVER as my Single Dime NBA Total Play O' the Day.
This one was much easier - hope you guys rode along...
Thanks Matty , and thanks for helping me out today.........................................
You're welcome buddy - here's Sunday's play...
507 CHI 7.5 (-110) vs 508 DEN
Analysis: We are going with an "anti-homer" referee angle today, as all three refs calling this game are a combined 22-5 ATS (81%) in favor of the road team. That includes Tony Brown, who has seen the visitor cover eight of his nine games so far this season, outscoring the host by an average of nearly six points. The Bulls have also won three of the last five meetings with the Nuggets straight-up, including a 110-107 victory at Denver back on February 8th, 2006. The Nuggets have covered just one of their last four games overall while Chicago is 4-1 ATS in its last five. Back the Bulls as my Single Dime NBA Play O' the Day.
Thanks Matty for the play, goodluck today$$$$
