Here's a mini-system that has a nice average margin.
Play ON the number one seeds in the opening game of the playoffs. Since the 2003 season, the number one seeds are 16-4 ATS in round one, game one. The SDQL text is:
series game = 1 and round = 1 and seed = 1 and season >= 2003
To see the game listing for the above situation, paste the above SDQL text into the query box at:
killersports.com/mlb.py/query
and then click the SDQL! button.
If you can cut and paste, you can perform SDQL queries. It's fast and it's free and no registration is necessary.
Last season the Heat opened the playoffs with a 110-87 win over the Bucks as the #1 seed in the East and the Thunder smashed the Rockets 120-91 as the number one seed in the West.
We have hundreds of PLAYOFF systems involving the current record in the series, the round number, the seed of the team and the recent performance of every player. The number of plays we released in the NBA tailed off at the end of the regular season because of team motivational issues. However, in the playoffs we can count on honest efforts from every team and this allows the SDQL to shine.
BOL to all. Let's get 'em.
