Sorry guys.. it's moving day for me... i've been out all day, capped games last night, just haven't had time to post.. i'll post my two plays that start right now.. and edit with anaylsis in a second....
St. Louis -120 (1.5/1.25) WIN - Piniero has not pitched well against Cincinnati this year, but in his three starts prior to this season he was 2-0 with a 2.5 ERA. I think we can count on him for a decent start tonight as he's showed some solid consistency lately. Homer Bailey, never been a fan. ERA at almost 7 for his career, yet the Reds continue to have faith in the youngster. Well not me. Cardinals won their final two games of their home stand, and i look for them to start the road trip off right against a Reds team that has the upper hand on the season series. I do concede that the Reds success against this Cards team has me worried, but i'm counting on a poor outing from Bailey countered by a solid Piniero outing.
Oakland +130 (1.5/1.95) LOSS - This is more of a value play for me. Cahill has struggled a bit lately, but i truly believe he is a fantastic young pitcher and i also believe David Huff is nothing special. Poor Indians team, with a poor bullpen... too large of a favorite to pass up with Cahill on the mound.
LA Dodgers -138 (2.25/1.63) WIN - Kuroda has not pitched great lately, but at the same time he's had zero run support. Gaudin is coming off that insanely good shutout he had his last time out, and i feel that has this line a little off. Gaudin seems to pull something like that off every single season, but he always falls right back to reality to show that he's really not a great starter. I'm not big on Manny's return, but i do think it changes the way you pitch to the Dodger lineup, and i really have faith in Gaudin getting beat up good tonight. great line for a far superior team.
