An overvalued team on tonight's baseball card?

I initially thought about taking Kansas City at around -130 with Greinke on the mound.  However, Danks has been pitching very well for Chicago, even though not many people have taken notice.  In addition, Chicago has been the much hotter team both long-term and short-term.  However, Greinke pitches very well at home.  I just don't think this game is priced correctly with both pitchers being about even and Chicago playing much better recently.

    Anyone else agree or disagree?

I agree.  No matter how good greinke is, he doesn't get run support.  I can't take KC at -140.

CFB - is most likely + a few units, need to check.

ive backed greinke recently twice in a row but cant do so tonight with that price... KC's offense is weak and Chi Sox are hitting right now... I can see a 3-1 win by chicago

Since the game is likely to be low scoring a good play might be Chicago +1.5 on the run line...  That extra run is so huge in a game that is lower scoring with both starters going perhaps 7 or 8 innings.

I'm actually taking Grienke on a small play tonight but you are absolutely right, Evan. The White Sox are *very* undervalued tonight and I can't argue a play on the Sox given the fact that KC is 28th in RPI vs. the CWS' 14th. They looked good at +132 this morning even better at +140 this afternoon, even if the game has a total line of 7.  To be honest, I would have liked the Royals as an underdog if I were going to go +1.5 RL with this thing on a tight line. Even more undervalued are the Rangers (I know...GF is on the Rays so I'm mentally gearing for a beat down! LOL). For what it's worth there also seems to be a showing of good value with the Cardinals, Giants, Rockies and Indians. Ditto for the Padres but there's *no way* I'm going against the Dodgers at -138 with Kuroda and Manny being Manny tonight in a game listing a total line that's been dropping from 7 1/2 to 7.

I'm showing the Twins as overvalued today as well. Ditto for the Cubs and Milwaukee is giving them a run for the money in extra innings.

Ehhhh...I don't think any team can be overvalued against Washington.  That team just flat out sucks and it's almost impossible to pick a good spot to back them.  However, I actually think Washington has been overvalued lately because for some reason oddsmakers refuse to make them bigger underdogs despite their horrendous record.
