Will be brief. Busy day. It was on this date in 1968 that the new american league franchise in Kansas City took their new name, the Royals. It was a welcome addition at the time, very much. The Kansas City A's, the team preceding them was a joke. My dad took me to a couple of their games when I was a pup and I asked him why we weren't in St Louis watching the Cardinals. He had promised me a major league game, lol. Then the A's move to Oakland and commence to winning world series titles. Anyway, the Royals should be a legit contender for most the season this year. Unless they are just teasing their fans again, which happens a lot. Some excellent young talent, I don't think much of Ned Yost, but time will tell.
Okay, free winner. I say take the Bulls tonight in the NBA plus the points at Indy. On the business side I had a solid day in the Big Dance yesterday going 4-1 with my releases. I did not have a Triple yesterday which is kind of bone headed from a sales view. But the main problem I encountered was a pretty significant one. I didn't see one. First day of the dance and I passed on any triples. I think I made my point, in spades. But, today I actually have two. One tips early and is loaded as a package. The other right now is for subscribers only. The long term success with these plays speaks for itself.
One final note. I see some people freaking out over some close games. Some throw tantrums, makes me wonder just how many minutes these guys have been betting. It happens guys. You will prevail in some you shouldn't and drop some you shouldn't have. Bottom line is you either win or lose. Learn from what you observed and move on. I learned long ago that anyone who get's too emotionally jacked up over any loss has very likely bet more than he should have on it. I try and stress money management and self discipline, you know, all that boring shit. But in the end, it's those guys still in the game while the others are bitching and whining how everything went against them. It's everyone's fault but their own.
Now onto a huge friday. Best of luck to everyone. Enjoy the games!!
