Spurs -7 vs Trailblazers
Portland on a grueling road trip and off a 10 point beatdown last night at Memphis. The Spurs are gearing up for their patented second half playoff prep and at home have been a beast this season. Mo Williams went out last night for Portland with a hip injury and is not expected to play tonight.
Brutal stretch of games for Portland with Houston, Dallas and a underrated Memphis team, and it gets no easier tonight. Back to back roadies and back on your heels is no way to roll into the Spurs home court where they are 23-8 SU and are off a dominating performance against Chicago, whose vaunted defense was shredded by the Spurs. The Spurs are on a 7 game tear and while this number looks tasty to grab the 7 points, I am willing to lay it here with the red hot home team tonight against a weak defense and tired legs of the Blazers, who quite frankly are flaming out a little down the stretch.
